Where It All Started
Catrina Grill began with a simple goal: bring real, authentic Mexican food to the Dallas area, made the way it's supposed to be made. From day one, our char-grilled chicken has been the heart of the menu — cooked low and slow over an open flame, the same way generations before us have done it. Everything else followed that same standard: fresh tortillas, made-to-order tacos, and recipes rooted in tradition rather than shortcuts.
A Comeback Built on Family
Like a lot of small, family-run restaurants, we've had our share of hard days. What kept us going was exactly that — family. When times got tough, it was a member of our own Catrina Grill family who stepped up and shared our story with the world, and the response from our community reminded us why we do this. Neighbors, regulars, and new faces alike showed up for us, and we've never forgotten it.

Through it all, our food has stayed exactly the same: fresh, made in-house, and full of flavor.
